Bienvenue à Luc's!
Owner Hervé Aussavis grew up in Fontainebleau, just outside of Paris before coming to the United States to open with a friend a small café, Le Gamin in Soho, in 1992. After opening a restaurant in Greenwich Village (Les Deux Gamins) and another café in Chelsea, he moved to Ridgefield, CT with his family to open his own café.
Luc's Restaurant has now been in operation since May 2001. It is located in the lower level of one of the oldest buildings in Ridgefield. Its original stone foundation adds to the charm and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Our terrace, enclosed with seasonal flowers, is available during the warmer months.
We offer non-stop service from 11:00 am until closing. At Luc's, you can be served anything from the menu anytime of day or night, a classic feature of an authentic French bistro.
Les plats du jour are offered daily by our executive chef Gregory Slemp. Our objective is to constantly deliver good quality food. All our dishes are prepared à la minute, prepared right away when you order it.
Luc's has become a neighborhood place, with many regular customers. Our faithful clientele is also part of the friendly flair and we are thankful to them for their patronage. We are looking forward to welcoming you and be part of our little piece of France at the doorstep of New England.
